![]() Payments We accept the following methods of payment: ![]() Kitchen Tips Burnt Food Stuck To Your Pot? Place some chopped onion in the pot, pour in boiling water and let it sit for about 5 minutes before trying to clean it. Great Gravy Tip Placing flour into a custard cup in the oven next to your roast will assure nice brown flour for gravy when the meat is done. *Note: Remember that your gravy can be frozen and used when needed! Storing Tomatoes Never refrigerate a tomato that is not fully ripe. Most tomatoes sold in stores are still ripening, and would benefit from a few days on the counter. Cold temperatures alter the fruit's flavor and stop the ripening process. Once ripe, a tomato can be refrigerated for several days. Messy Leaky Kitchen Garbage Bin A Problem? An easy way to avoid this is to sprinkle baking soda on the bottom of your bin and then put 2 or 3 sheets of newspaper over the top. When you lift the bag out you can then easily see whether it has leaked or not and fix the problem before it makes a mess everywhere. The baking soda helps to absorb any odors while the newspaper also helps to absorb the mess and you can just change the paper (easier than cleaning out the bin) for next time! ![]() ![]() |
